Terms of use
The ground rules for using this site and its content.
On this page
Agreement
By using mortgageadvicedaily.com (the “site”), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Educational content only
Everything on the site is general information about US mortgages and home buying. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and it is not an offer or commitment to lend. Reading the site does not create a client, advisory or lending relationship. Read our full disclaimer.
Accuracy
We work hard to keep answers correct and current and we cite our sources, but rules, limits and rates change and may differ by state and lender. Always confirm details with your lender, the official source we cite, or a qualified professional before you act.
Using our content
- You may read, print and share links to any page for personal, non-commercial use.
- You may quote a short excerpt (up to about 100 words) if you credit Mortgage Advice Daily and link to the original page.
- You may not copy whole articles, republish our content as your own, or use it to train or populate a commercial product without written permission.
- Our name, logo and design are ours. Do not use them in a way that suggests we endorse you.
What you send us
When you send a question, you allow us to use it, rewritten without your name or identifying details, as the basis for a published answer. You confirm you have the right to send what you send, and that it does not include anyone else’s private information.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests in a way that harms other users, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or submit spam or unlawful content through our forms. Search engines and AI crawlers may crawl the site as described in our robots.txt.
Links to other sites
We link to official sources such as federal agencies and program pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
No warranties
The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Mortgage Advice Daily is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information on the site. Some states do not allow certain limits, so some of these may not apply to you.
Changes
We may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows the latest version. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Mortgage Advice Daily is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
